Send An Email:WRITE AN EMAIL to these three MPs, and the newspapers, saying why we need all four big ferries to stay:

- Member for Manly, James Griffin - manly@parliament.nsw.gov.au

Manly's world famous ferry fleet will be slashed unless we take action NOW! The NSW Government says our classic ferries will be phased out this year and replaced with smaller 400-seat commuter-style faster ferries. Their current plan is to keep two of the big classic ferries until 2023, for weekends and public holidays only. But that's not enough! We need all four Manly Ferries (Freshwater class). Large double-ended ferries have served Manly since the 1850s. They are a major Sydney tourist attraction & the economic lifeblood of Manly. |

- Work with the Government to develop a compromise plan, using both the quicker, smaller ferries and the classic Freshwater boats continuing on the Manly run daily
- Explore Converting the existing ferries to electric as is being done successfully overseas.
